Park Facilities

Our tranquil site is at the bottom of a lush valley alongside a gentle stream with views of the surrounding hills.

12 pitches are arranged around a modern facilities building.

Camping pitches are grass, while touring pitches have hard standing wheel-runs.

All pitches have electric and TV hook-up.

Six pitches are fully-serviced with additional fresh water and grey waste drain facilities.

The heated facilities building houses three spacious wet rooms each fitted with shower, hand-basin and WC.

All are fully tiled and there are a few thoughtful touches like hand cream and hair-dryers which our lady guests appreciate.

One wet room is equipped with disabled facilities.

A good washing-up room includes a freezer for guests use and the laundry room provides all you need for washing, tumble drying and ironing.

Many guests appreciate getting together in the small communal TV lounge which contains a selection of tourist information and book library.

This is a great area for your dog, we have a dog walk adjacent to the camping field with public footpaths nearby.

We have dog washing facilities on-site.

A popular pub-restaurant, The Bell at Skenfrith is a mile from the site.

There is a good choice of country inns and restaurants in this area.

The nearest local shop is at Grosmont.

Monmouth is conveniently close for supermarkets and shopping.

Do come and visit us, we’d be delighted to welcome you to our lovely valley.

Whats On Nearby

The caravan park takes its name from the three castles, Skenfrith, Grosmont and White along the border between Herefordshire and Wales.

Skenfrith Castle stands at the centre of the village on the banks of the River Monnow, a pleasant walk from the site.

All three castles are worth a visit and may inspire a trip to Goodrich Castle, overlooking the Wye Valley, or mighty Raglan Castle close to Abergavenny.

Ross-on-Wye is an interesting market town on the River Wye, where it’s easy to park, with riverside extensive riverside gardens.

Stroll among the Tudor buildings to the town’s Prospect Gardens for panoramic views towards the Brecon Beacons.

Further South the river descends into a forested limestone gorge at Symonds Yat.

It’s a great day out for riverside walks, climbing to the viewing platforms to watch the peregrines fly, picnicking or lunching at a riverside café.

A few miles from the gorge is Monmouth, an historic garrison town, birthplace of King Henry V, commanding the main routes between England and Wales.

The icon for Monmouth is its unique Monnow bridge.

Monmouth has a lively shopping centre and retail parks where you will find the supermarkets.

Cross the River Wye South of Monmouth for Coleford and the Royal Forest of Dean area of outstanding natural beauty.

Abergavenny is the gateway to Wales, a traditional market town nestled between seven hills.

The town has a castle and distinctive Town Hall.

Abergavenny market is a well-known venue for regular events and festivals.

Abergavenny’s award-winning Food Festival is held on the third weekend in September at venues around the town.

Beyond Abergavenny is the Vale of the River Usk, a beautiful river in the breath-taking scenery of the Brecon Beacons National Park.

In addition to all the walking and cycling activities around Three Castles Country Caravan Park, guests who enjoy fishing will be delighted with the fishing around the Monnow, Usk and Wye.

Golfers will be delighted with their choice of the Rolls of Monmouth, Monmouth and Abergavenny Wernddu Golf courses.
