Charoland is a cosy, well kept relaxing retreat for people who enjoy the countryside and wildlife. The site is surrounded by meadows and farmland making this an ideal spot for walks and cycling. There are numerous interesting villages and towns a short ride away, ensuring your stay can be as active or relaxing as you wish, making for a memorable experience.

Our Facilities on Park

The site caters for 10 pitches only. Caravans and motorhomes. All pitches have the benefit of pay as you go 16 amp electric electricity supply.

Pitches are a hardstanding facility either by attractive block paving or low laid webbing under grass.

At the centre of the site is a screened BBQ/picnic area with a small raised pond .

The sheltered service area on the site has fresh and waste water points, a toilet disposal area and recycling bins.

Charoland has a quality toilet and shower block with separate mens and ladies toilets/showers and wash hand basins with hand drying facilities and electric shaving point .

A comprehensive brochure on the local area is available from the Reception Cabin in addition to extensive tourist information leaflets.

There is a small supermarket, Star Bucks, Greggs and Subway within a 15 minute walk.

Dogs are by prior arrangement – as this is a working farm, dogs must be kept on a lead at all times when on site.

LYTHAM ST ANNES (12 miles)

Two neighbouring seaside towns set across a beautiful coastline with parks, boating lake and rolling sand dunes. Lytham is famous for its Grade II listed windmill, international golf course, boutiques and restaurants. St Annes has a stunning restored Victorian Pier, clean beaches, shops and cafes

GARSTANG (12 miles)

Pretty market town with specialist individual shops. Regular winner of Britain in Bloom

CLITHEROE (28 miles)

An ancient market town in the Ribble Valley and one of Englands 36 Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). Clitheroe Castle is now home to a museum and 16 acres of landscaped gardens. Clitheroe is well known for its plethora of specialist shops

SOUTHPORT (29 miles)

22 miles of coastline with restaurants, shops, parks and gardens.

LANCASTER (31 miles)

Lancaster is a vibrant university city with a wealth of history, beginning life as a Roman Fort in 80AD. Now its cobbled streets are lined with smart, stone houses filled with lively shops, bars and restaurants. Norman Lancaster Castle overlooks the city.

SKIPTON (46 miles)

Skipton is a market town in Airedale, its position overlooking the Aire Gap at the south western boundary of the Yorkshire Dales National Park earning the town its title as “Gateway to the Dales”. Attractions in the town itself include Skipton Castle (behind which lie Skipton Woods) and the Leeds – Liverpool canal.
