AA Campsite of the Year 2008, Stroud Hill Caravan & Touring Park is a deluxe, adult only and dog friendly country retreat with luxury facilities with on-site dog friendly bar & restaurant.

The caravan park is set in serene Cambridgeshire countryside with its own fishing lake for guests only. Our 3 acre fishing lake is stocked with specimen carp, rudd, roach, tench and bream. We also have a tennis court and access to footpaths from the site.

Guests may choose their fully serviced hard standing or grass pitch.  We can accommodate tents, caravans & motor homes (small & large) on one of our hard standing and 16 grass pitches. Each has a 16amp EHU, fresh drinking water and grey water drain with a generous grass or hedged divide between pitches.

Guests can arrive from 9am at no extra charge and there is No Late Stay Fee for departures up to 6pm. We provide FREE Wi-Fi and no charge for awnings.

At the heart of this Adult Only Touring Site is an oak framed barn housing reception, laundry, washing-up and vegetable preparation area. Our luxury, heated toilet and shower block includes spacious privacy cubicles which received 5 star ‘Loo of the year’ awards in 2011, 2012 and 2018.

We have a full disabled suite, the entire site was built to be accessible by all.

We also sell caravan necessities, fishing tackle & bait.

Our on- site Bar and Restaurant, The Barn, is open Wednesday through to Saturday evenings from 6pm and Sundays for lunch from 12-3pm.  Dogs are welcome.

Adjoining our park is the Lakeside Lodge Golf & Leisure complex, offering Golf, Pitch & Put, ten pin bowling, , Hair Dressers & Beauty Salon and bar and restaurant open all day which is open to the general public.

We are happy to take one night bookings however we do have a minimum of 3 nights over bank holidays.

You can enjoy Cambridgeshire’s unspoiled villages, waterways and the historic cities of Cambridge, Ely and Peterborough all year-round. With St Ives only 10 minutes away and the Park & Ride into the heart of Cambridge City Centre.

Stroud Hill Park lies within the ancient district of Huntingdonshire at the centre of modern Cambridge – shire.

This gentle country is popular for walking and cycling with miles of footpaths, bridleways and rural tracks crossing a landscape of water meadow and slow flowing rivers bordering the Great Fen. Our staff will happily provide all the information you require for your perfect stay.

The most popular nature reserves and bird watching locations in Cambridgeshire are nearby.

The pretty riverside market town of St Ives is 10 minutes’ drive from the caravan park.

It is one of the principal towns in Huntingdonshire as the home of Oliver Cromwell and a historic bridge crossing over the Great Ouse River.

You can enjoy a walk along St Ives historic riverside quay, watch the swans, and visit the local galleries and museum.

St Ives is popular for its riverside & meadow walks, tearooms, restaurants and public houses. Boat trips are available from the quayside.

Samuel Pepys, the diarist, also lived in Huntingdonshire at Hinchingbrooke, where you can visit the family house.

Within a short distance of the campsite you can also visit many National Trust heritage properties and gardens; Wimpole HallHoughton MillPeckover House and Anglesey Abbey.

For historic attractions, the beautiful city of Cambridge is hard to beat. The Park & Ride at St Ives(only 10 minuets from our site) allows direct access into the City centre.

Although Cambridge is a city without a cathedral, it has some remarkable churches.

Great St Mary’s Church is the University church, worth a visit for its tower views over the university colleges. Kings College Chapel is simply inspirational.

You can take in many of the sights from a riverside walk or enjoy a leisurely ride in a punt.

Cambridge hosts a variety of festivals, galleries and live music events.

It’s a city with something for everyone all year-round.

Another great day out is the City of Ely, it’s magnificent cathedral standing high above the Great Fen.

Peterborough is also a cathedral city, steeped in history and now well known for its Nene Valley heritage steam railway.

Duxford Imperial War Museum; home to one of the finest military and civil aircraft collections in Europe, many of which can be seen being maintained and flying at air shows and prom’ concerts.
