York Caravan Park is the 5-star adult only caravan park and campsite tucked away in a country setting within the city boundary, just 10 minutes’ drive from York’s attractions along a regular bus route. Tranquil Parks York park were very busy last winter making things easier for our guests by putting an extra grey water drain on every hardstanding pitch – the new ones are under where the grey water connection is on caravans and motorhomes, and the old ones are still under the drinking water hook-up point.


York is a very popular city for tourists, and here are just a few of the things that are happening in the next few weeks:


Ebor Festival at York Racecourse – 19-22 August. It’s a 4 day horse racing event that draws crowds of tens of thousands of people every day. Entry fees start at just £10.

York Beer & Cider Festival – 16-19 September. 450 beers, 100 ciders, a massive marquee and a huge paddock with food stalls. Entry from £1 to £5.

York Food and Drink Festival – 18-27 September. The biggest food and drink festival in the UK! Food and drink stalls, celebrity chef demonstrations, live music and a large marquee right in the centre of York. Entry to most areas is free.
