Back of Beyond Touring Park is a relaxed, adult only caravan site set in 30 acres of beautiful Dorset countryside.
Owners Martin & Victoria have laid out 97 pitches so that guests can enjoy the woods, heathland, and fishing lakes.
Everything about Back of Beyond Touring Park is welcoming and well cared for.
The park is ideal for visiting the New Forest, Dorset Jurassic Coast, Poole Harbour, Bournemouth and Christchurch.
It is also the ideal country retreat to return to in the evening.
Park Facilities
Back of Beyond Touring Park is set back from the road among woods, heathland, lakes and river providing habitats for animals and spectacular bird-life.
Touring caravan pitches are level, mostly well-drained, very firm grass.
All pitches have 10A electric hook-up with fresh water taps and waste water drains at frequent intervals.
We also have a beautiful woodland glade, Emmasfield, which is for campers who want to get closer to the wildlife. Dogs are not permitted in this glade.
Back of Beyond Touring Park has three heated, high quality toilet and shower blocks with power-showers, ladies strip-wash cubicle, private/disabled shower room, hand-dryers, hairdryers and all the usual equipment.
Everything is free to use, open 24 hours and kept very clean.
Reception keeps a few essentials including gas, and you can order newspapers and fresh morning bakery.
For other supplies, supermarkets, caravan and camping centres are nearby.
We can help with lots of touring information and you can borrow a book from our small library.
Well behaved dogs are welcome.
They must be on-lead in the caravan park though can run free over 10 acres of woodland within secure park boundaries.
Leisure activities on the park include a pitch & putt course which is almost 1/2 mile long if you laid the holes end to end.
Then there’s the Boule pitch. Both are free to use and we’ll lend you the clubs and balls. Rabbits, moles and squirrels add interest.
Lake and river fishing is free on-site.
Both waters can produce fine catches so don’t forget to bring your licence.
For the dedicated angler, the Stour, Avon and specialist fisheries are a walk or short drive.
At the end of another great day in the Dorset countryside, you will find hostelries serving refreshments and food within a comfortable walk from the caravan park.
Free WiFi is now available.
