Set amongst ancient Warwickshire woodland in the very heart of England, Somers Wood Caravan Park offers you year round 5-star luxury facilities with a friendly Fowler family welcome, just for adults.

Stonebridge Golf Centre, driving range, Clubhouse and Packington Coarse Fishery are adjacent to the park. All park guests are very welcome and dogs are allowed in the Clubhouse.

Meriden village is just over ½ mile from Somers Wood where you’ll find local village shops, pubs and a fish & chip shop.  There are convenient routes to the National Exhibition Centre, Resorts World , Birmingham, Coventry, Warwick and Shakespeare’s Stratford-upon-Avon.

Somers Wood Caravan Park has been developed as an all year-round adult only caravan park for guests to enjoy the country and local area at any time.

Touring caravans, motorhomes, trailer tents, 5thwheelers and RV’s are all welcome on our 48 spacious hard standing pitches attractively laid out in the shelter of mature trees with plenty of room for your awning.

Some pitches are part grass and some are available fully-serviced. All pitches have 10amp electric.

Our heated, modern amenities building is equipped with free hot showers, WC’s, wash hand basins, private wash cubicles, hand-dryers, shaving point, hair-dryers, washing machine, tumble dryer and dish wash sinks.

For the comfort of guests with special needs we have a separate disabled suite located away from the main shower block.  Please ask for a pitch close to this facility if you wish to use it during your stay.

Somers Wood is a dog-friendly caravan park.  We welcome well behaved dogs with quiet owners JThere is direct access from the park onto a public right of way where you can exercise your dog’s freely.

A full selection of leaflets, local walks, books and magazines can be found in the information cabin.  Also there are Chinese and Indian takeaway menus, both will deliver food to the park!

Wifi is available from £2 per day – Rock pegs and chemical loo products are sold in Reception.

Somers Wood Caravan Park offers a unique variety of country leisure, city, historical and cultural activity within Warwickshire and the Midlands.

Stonebridge Golf Centreand Clubhouse is also adjacent to the caravan park, one of many golf courses in Warwickshire, including the Belfry which hosted the Ryder Cup.

We are just 3 miles from the National Exhibition Centre, home to national caravan shows, Cruft’s, 180 other exhibitions, and one of the country’s premier concert and sports venues.

Europe’s first Resorts World at the NEC is a vibrant complex attracting thousands of visitors each week. It features Britain’s biggest casino, the West Midlands’ first large-scale outlet destination, 18 bars and restaurants, a spa, Cineworld cinema with purpose-built IMAX screen, and a four star hotel.

Did you know Birmingham has more miles of canal than Venice?

Apart from being a major retail centre, the city has theatres, concerts, sporting events and a lively nightlife.

Visit the Bullring, Mailbox, Brindley PlaceNational Sea Life Centre, Jewellery Quarter, Cadbury World, National Motorcycle Museum, Art gallery and museums.

Coventry is just 6 miles from the caravan park.

Its famous modern Cathedral is linked to the shell and spire of the building destroyed in 1940.

In the same square are the remains of the cathedral founded by Lady Godiva in 1043 and St Mary’s Guildhall.

Coventry Transport Museum is in the central Millennium Park.  Entrance to this amazing collection is free.

Warwick, ancient county town of Warwickshire is a pleasant drive.  Its magnificently preserved medieval castle stands in landscaped grounds on the banks of the Avon.

Plan your trip to take in Kenilworth Castle and Elizabethan gardens and the view of Warwick from Hatton’s flight of 21 canal locks.

Stratford-upon-Avon is not to be missed for its timber framed houses, river walks and fine racecourse. William Shakespeare was born here, died here and is buried close by the wonderful new Royal Shakespeare Theatre.
