Having built the site themselves, they take great care of the grounds, the fishing lake and local wildlife. You will find this adult only dog friendly site has spacious new touring pitches laid out by the 20 peg coarse fishing lake, with holiday homes and seasonal pitches also on site.
Family members are involved in all aspects of running the park, which they are continuing to develop. Rated AA 4 Star Gold, you can expect modern, hardstanding serviced pitches and high grade, well heated facilities at this Sunnyside.
The touring pitches at Sunnyside are 8 metres wide by 8.5 meters long. They are all serviced with an Elsan waste point, along with a drinking water tap, grey waste drain and credit electric meter screen.
Both coarse fishing enthusiasts and wildlife enjoy the park’s main feature, the large, well-stocked pool. It has 20 pegs and marginal featues, plus well planted islands, bridges and walkways. There are plenty of duck houses and you’ll see kingfishers and birds of prey along with the waterfowl, blue tits and robins.
The toilet and shower block is centrally heated and kept constantly warm. There are large shower cubicles and disabled suites, with the whole block on one level and wheelchair accessible.

The local pub, the New Inn, is about 800 yards from the park entrance, serving traditional pub grub and great Sunday dinners.
Sunnyside Farm Caravan Park & Fishery is about 5 miles from Shrewsbury town centre. Opposite the pub is the bus stop and the route into town passes many local amenities such as takeaways and supermarkets. You can also get to Whitchurch and Wem, which are small, quiet local market towns.
Just a short drive away is the local Park and Ride. It’s convenitnely located in a large Tesco car park, right next to the bus station. There are some great pubs in the area including The Two Henrys Pub & Grill a dog friendly pub with the emphasis on food, providing a great atmosphere amd sports on TV.
Within an hour’s drive you can reach beauty spots, quaint towns and historic attractions such as Ellsmere Lake, Oswestry, Newtown, Welshpool, Bridgnorth, Telford famous for the Iron Bridge and famous Bliss Hill Victorian town.

If the Sat Nav brings you down the A53, don’t take a right turning onto the lane, keep going to Battlefield roundabout (with Spa Garage), then exit on the Shrewsbury road, take the turnoff to Hadnall village and the park is signposted in the village.
