New Lodge Caravan Park wins prestigious recognition
New Lodge Farm Caravan Park, Camp Site and Farm Shop are set in an attractive rural location in the heart of the Rockingham Forest and Northamptonshire just outside the 17th century village of Bulwick.
The traditional mixed farm has been in the Singlehurst family for over 90 years and now focuses very much on Livestock production of Aberdeen Angus Cattle and sheep, which are sold through the onsite Farm butchery
The Farm is run by husband and wife team Simon and Sarah Singlehurst.
The award winning Farm Shop, Butchery and Cafe was opened 12 years ago and in April 2014, the brand new adult only caravan and campsite opened its doors to visitors for the first time.
Now Tranquil Parks park New Lodge Farm receives huge praise in the form of a Rural Oscar Finalists as it is awarded a finalist position for the Tourism Enterprise category.
Simon Singlehurst the owner has said; “We are excited to have been selected as a finalists in the Countryside Alliance “Rural Oscars” for tourism awards 2016 We have been invited to the House of Lords in April to see if we have won”.
Mark Bell Tranquil Parks Vice chairman has said; “The awards and praise keep on coming for Tranquil park members and as the Tranquil Parks board are delighted. We have some of the best adult only parks in the UK and this is all coming to light as our members begin to receive awards and recognition outside of the normal sphere of the industry. We are incredibly proud of Simon & Sarah at New Lodge Farm and the team for receiving this very prestigious recognition”.
