This makes Tranquil Parks Woodland Springs currently the only 5 Pennant Gold Adult Only Camping & Caravanning site in Devon and the only 5 Pennant Gold Camping & Caravanning site in the stunning Dartmoor National Park. 
The AA Inspector said in his report that “It is always a pleasure to visit this Adults only park no matter what time of the year” and remarked about the “Excellent size hardstanding pitches”.
We offer peace and tranquillity to our adult only clientele to enable them to de-stress from the pace of modern life. Nowhere could be better than the Dartmoor National Park for relaxation and blowing off some steam.
We are very proud of our toilet and shower block that was custom made for us in Devon which offers our customers “first class fixtures and fittings” as well as a “Clean dish wash and laundry area”. We are also delighted to say that it has been awarded a 2016 Loo Of The Year Platinum Award.
Woodland Springs is a very dog friendly site with no charges for dogs or other pets and it was noted that we have an on-site dog exercise area which is of a “good area plus day dog kennels”. The dog exercise area is about 1 acre in size and dogs can be exercised off the lead.
Chris and Jan Patrick, the owners, say that “we are delighted with the award as we have put a lot of effort into improving the site over the 12 plus years we have owned it which has brought us this recognition and award”.
Woodland Springs Touring Park is exclusively for adults and is set in a peaceful and tranquil rural setting behind the hamlet of Venton within the glorious Dartmoor National Park just 1.5 miles from A30 at Whiddon Down. It is currently the only 5 Pennant Gold rated site in the Park and the only 5 Pennant Gold Rated Adult Only Site in Devon and is a member of “Tranquil Parks” and is also acknowledged as one of the Top 100 Sites for 2016 in the UK.
