Caravan Camping and Motorhome Show, Birmingham NEC, 2024
What a fantastic week we had at the Caravan Camping and Motorhome Show this year. A big thank you to everyone who visited our stand.
It was a pleasure to meet so many touring, camping and glamping enthusiasts, from seasoned experts to those purchasing new caravans and vehicles for the first time. So many visitors really liked the idea of our holiday parks just for adults, and many others had already enjoyed numerous stays at Tranquil Parks.
As usual, the show was held in four massive halls at the NEC in Birmingham. There were hundreds of caravans, motorhomes, campervans and trailer tents on display, plus huge campground setups displaying tents and camping equipment, as well as holiday lodges and even boats! There were also celebrities and experts giving advice.
We gave out 4,000 brochures in total and had over 600 entries in our prize draw! Thirteen Tranquil Parks generously donated prizes for the draw and they are listed below.
Volunteers and representatives from Tranquil Parks
We rely on the owners and staff from our member parks to organise our stand and represent us at the show. Our stand is organised by Hywel from South Wales Touring Park, who sadly was not able to attend this time. We’re therefore grateful to Mark from Daisy Bank Caravan Park near Montgomery in Powys Wales for setting up our stand.
This year the show ran from Tuesday 13 to Sunday 18 February. Here are our representatives for each of the six days of the show:

Day 1
Sarah and Simon, owners of New Lodge Farm near Bulwick, Rockingham Forest, Northamptonshire.

Day 2
Craig from Eye Kettleby Lakes Touring Park near Melton Mowbray in Leicestershire with Louise from Somers Wood Caravan Park, near the village of Meriden, just a few mile south east of the NEC.

Day 5
Louise from Somers Wood Caravan Park with Pam from Tyddyn Du Touring Park near Conwy, North Wales.

Day 6
On the final day we had our Marketing Team on the stand – Debbie Lamb and Eddie Honey, a marketing student.
We look forward to doing it all again next year and hope to see you there!
