Looking for a seasonal pitch?

Many of our guests are asking about seasonal pitches. Whether it’s to make the journey and set up easier or to establish a base in your favourite area, seasonal pitches can certainly have advantages.

We’ve asked the Tranquil Parks that have seasonal pitches why they’re in such high demand, what to expect if you’re looking for one, where you might find one and how to go about getting one – see our report on seasonals.

A ‘busman’s holiday’?

Congratulations to Angie and Marc, owners of Somers Wood Caravan Park, on their 40th wedding anniversary! We wish them many more happy years together.

It’s been great to see them enjoying other Tranquil Parks this year and last month they had a wonderful time at New Lodge Farm. “We had a lovely relaxing stay with lots to see and do in the local area” said Angie, adding that the park had great food and an excellent farm shop, as well as a large enclosed dog walking field for off-lead run arounds!  The couple also visited South Wales Touring Park earlier this year and really enjoyed the views from their pitch.
